Basketball: The National Basketball Association's (NBA) Charlotte Hornets have appointed Excel Sports Management to seek a jersey patch sponsor, according to SportsBusiness Journal. The brief would be the first of its kind for the agency.

Australian rules football: Australian Football League (AFL) team West Coast Eagles have signed a three-year renewal of their longstanding sponsorship deal with insurance group SGIO, a partner of the Australian rules football club since 1987.

Motorsport: Confectionery brand M&M's has become the title sponsor of the Nascar Camping World Truck Series race at Iowa Speedway on 23rd June. Race sponsorships in US stock car racing's third tier are thought to be worth around US$100,000.

Also in motorsport: Dart Machinery has become the title sponsor of the drag racing's National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) Pro-Stock class for the rest of the 2017 season.

Soccer: Recently promoted second-tier German soccer club SV Sandhausen have renewed with shirt sponsor Verivox for the 2017/18 2. Bundesliga season. The extension was brokered by Infront Sports & Media.

Also in soccer: English soccer club Notts County have confirmed all ten of the sponsors who will take monthly shirt sponsorship slots in the 2017/18 League Two season. They include pop star Jake Bugg, a Notts County fan whose name will appear on the front of the shirts in November.

Triathlon: Sports nutrition company Science in Sport has become an official partner of British Triathlon, and will supply British triathletes, coaches and staff with its products and support their preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Baseball: The MP & Silva agency has been appointed to exclusively market media and sponsorship rights to the Colombian Baseball League and Serie Latinoamericana until 2022.
