Handball: The German Handball Federation (DHB) has partnered with building materials retailer Eurobaustoff. The company’s i&M Bauzentrum brand will serve as an official sponsor of Germany’s national handball team for three years.

Basketball: Radosław Piesiewicz has been appointed president of the Polish Basketball League, the sport’s top flight in the European country. Piesiewicz, who previously served as vice president of the Polish Volleyball Federation, replaces Grzegorz Bachański in the role.

Golf: Two-time World Long Drive champion Jamie Sadlowski has become a brand ambassador for golf equipment brand Cleveland Golf. The Canadian, 29, won the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship in consecutive years in 2008 and 2009, and has a personal best of 445 yards.

Soccer: Fourth-tier English soccer side Cheltenham Town have renewed their longstanding commercial deal with Mira Showers for a further two years. The shower manufacturer will remain the League Two club’s front-of-shirt sponsor for a further two years, retaining a role it has held since 2008.  

Fishing: US technology company Garmin has agreed a deal to become the title sponsor of professional Bassmaster Elite series angler Jason Christie.

Flying disc sports: The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) has named Universe Point as its official footwear sponsor for two years.
