Friday’s Daily Deal Round-Up: Anthony Joshua’s Danish TV deal and more

Boxing: Modern Times Group (MTG) has secured the broadcast rights in Denmark to IBF and WBA world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua's defence against Carlos Takam on 28th October. The fight, which takes place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, will be carried on the pay-TV TV3 Plus channel and on the Viaplay video streaming service.

Drone racing: The Drone Racing League (DRL) has confirmed that the finale of its seven-event 2018 DRL Allianz World Championship season will take place in Saudi Arabia in September.

Motorcycling: Motorbike-leasing specialist Yamaha Financial Services has extended its title sponsorship deal with Dorna WSBK Organization for the Australian opener of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship for another three years. The event, which is set to return on 26th and 27th February, will continue to be known as the Yamaha Finance Australian Round.

Handball: French handball player Nikola Karabatic has renewed his personal endorsement deal with Lidl for the 2017/18 season. The Paris Saint-Germain Handball star first signed with the supermarket chain in October 2016.

Motorsport: Off-road buggy manufacturer Textron Off-Road has renewed its deal with The Dirt Track at Charlotte to continue as the title sponsor of the World of Outlaws World Finals, a dirt buggy racing event being held from 2nd to 4th November in the US city.
