Athletic equipment retailer Foot Locker has renewed a sponsorship deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Although financial details have not been revealed, the marketing rights that the brand has bought will be split between the US and Canada.
Foot Locker Canada has become an official partner of the league in Canada, where it will run NBA-themed promotions in stores across the company, and continue to help run events such as the NBA Canada Series and the NBA BIG Tour.
Meanwhile, Foot Locker in the US has become an official marketing partner of the league for a multi-year period.
The brand will continue as the title partner of the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest at the NBA All-Star weekend, a competition it has backed since 2004.
Foot Locker will run promotions and ticket giveaways for the NBA All-Star weekend, which is next scheduled to take place from 14th to 16th February next year in New Orleans.
