English cricketer Andrew Flintoff has signed an agreement that sees him become a brand ambassador for German sportswear brand Puma.

The four-year deal will see Flintoff front a series of campaigns for the brand advertising cricket equipment and lifestyle apparel. Agreements under the deal will also see him play in Puma branded footwear and cricket equipment as well as wearing Puma sports lifestyle ranges off the pitch.

The England all-rounder said of the deal: "I'm really excited to be joining the brand and looking forward to developing the relationship throughout the next stage of my career."

He joins the likes of Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist and New Zealand star Brendan McCullum as part of Puma’s global cricket marketing campaign.

Last month Puma appointed New York-based agency, Droga5 to its global advertising and marketing account.
