Finland’s Elisa signs Uefa media rights deal

Finnish telecoms company Elisa and its broadcast arm Elisa Entertainment have bought a package of media rights from European soccer's governing body Uefa.

The rights include the remaining three years of Uefa's current four-year package of European qualifier games, as well as rights to this year's Uefa U-21 European Championships.

The rights kick in with the next round of qualifying games for the 2016 European Championships on 12th June, and take in the European qualifying campaigns for the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

This year's eight-team Uefa U-21 European Championship will take place in the Czech Republic from 17th to 30th June.
