FFA and EA Sports expand partnership

Football Federation Australia (FFA), the governing body for Australian soccer, has expanded its partnership with video games giant EA Sports.

The two parties will continue to collaborate, with the FFA extending its licensing agreement for the use of official Socceroos and A-League imagery to be used in EA's popular Fifa series.

“There are more than seven million people in the extended football family across Australia, from people who watch the Hyundai A-League week in week out, to those who take their kids to football on a Saturday morning and support the Socceroos from their couch,” said Chris Gatherer, general manager of EA Sports for the Asia-Pacific region.

“Strengthening our partnership with the FFA is a fantastic opportunity for EA Sports and working in partnership we continue to drive passion for the sport through delivering engaging experiences for fans of Australian football and players.”
