Golf's European Tour has agreed a six-year partnership with Aggreko.
The Scottish company will be the official supplier of temporary power and climate control systems, including design and project management services, at least 12 European Tour events each year until 2023. These will include the 2018 and 2022 Ryder Cups in Paris and Rome, and four tournaments each year on the elite Rolex Series.
"This new partnership with Aggreko will help to reduce the complexities in our ever-growing and developing business, as we press forward with our plans to innovate, grow the game, and build on important initiatives like the premium Rolex Series," said Nathan Homer, the chief commercial and marketing officer at the European Tour.
“With multiple locations over 30 countries, Aggreko is a trusted and ambitious company that matches the European Tour’s global outlook, and we look forward to working together over the next six years to the benefit of both companies.”
Robert Wells, the managing director of Aggreko Event Services, added: “With the European Tour launching the Rolex Series and many more ambitious plans for the future, we are looking forward to delivering the highest level of service and innovation as their temporary power and climate control supplier.”
