Global sports network Eleven Sports has renewed its exclusive rights deal to broadcast Italian club soccer’s top tier, Serie A, for a further three years in Poland.

The three-year extension will run until 2021 and will include exclusive highlights and near-live clips for social media.

Eleven first agreed a deal to broadcast Serie A in Poland in 2015.

The news comes after the network recently secured a host of new soccer broadcast rights deals in Belgium, where Eleven acquired rights to Germany’s Bundesliga, while extending its agreements to show Serie A and Spain’s La Liga for a further three years.

The broadcaster will also show the qualifiers for the 2020 Uefa European Championship, the European qualifiers for the 2022 Fifa World Cup and the inaugural Uefa Nations League competition.

“Serie A attracts a loyal following in Poland and we are thrilled to extend our partnership, building on the coverage we have produced over the last three years,” said Krzysztof Świergiel, managing director for Poland at Eleven Sports.

“Eleven Sports’ success in Poland has been built on an extremely strong portfolio of premium rights. We are delighted to renew one of our key properties for a second cycle and continue to offer all fans incredible insight into the biggest games from Serie A.”
