DXC Technology has extended its agreement with Team Penske to be the primary sponsor of Simon Pagenaud’s number 22 Chevrolet for six races in the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series.
Pagenaud, who was the 2016 series champion, will see his car carry DXC’s branding for the upcoming season of the premier open-wheel motorsport competition, marking the second consecutive season that the IT company has been his car’s primary sponsor.
In addition, the DXC will continue as an associate sponsor for the remaining 11 races in the series’ calendar.
The news follows kit assembler Fitzgerald Glider Kits’ partnership with Team Penske in November as a primary sponsor of the number 22 Ford Mustang in 16 races of the 2018 stock car racing season of the Nascar Xfinity Series.

The 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season opens on 11th March with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in Florida.
