DAZN, the over-the-top (OTT) service operated by digital sports media company Perform, has agreed a multi-year deal to stream coverage of the Pac-12 US college sports conference in Canada.

The agreement will make a number of the conference’s live events on Pac-12 Networks available to DAZN’s Canadian subscribers, along with highlights and original programming. The coverage will include a host of football games, men’s and women’s basketball matches and Olympic events.

The deal with DAZN adds to the Pac-12 Networks’ list of OTT partners, including Sling TV and fuboTV, both of which stream coverage in the US.

“DAZN’s service gives our Canadian fans tremendous access to the Pac-12’s portfolio of high-quality live events and originals,” said Alden Budill, senior vice president and head of distribution and partner marketing for Pac-12 Networks. “We’re thrilled to add DAZN to our list of partners and look forward to working with them to bring the very best of Pac-12 sports to our fans in Canada.”

“Giving Canadian fans more access to the sports they love continues to be a priority for us, and today we are excited to be adding yet another great sport property to the growing DAZN platform in Canada,” added Alex Rice, managing director for rights and strategic development at DAZN. "The Pac-12 is full of high calibre student-athletes and competitions and Canadians will now have more access to that great content when, where and how they want to consume it.”
