Automotive manufacturer Toyota has extended its commercial partnership with Cricket Australia (CA) for a further four years.
Toyota will continue to support CA’s grassroots initiative Australian Cricket pathway and the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle, which has raised AUS$1.7 million (US$1.9 million) for local cricket clubs since 2012.
The renewal also ensures Toyota’s ongoing support of each of the state cricket associations and the CA’s domestic T20 competition the KFC Big Bash League.
In addition, Toyota will be the naming rights partner of the regional Australian Country Cricket Championships.
Toyota has been a partner of CA since 2012.
Ben Amarfio, CA’s general manager of broadcasting, digital media and commercial, said: “We are very proud of the partnership we have formed with Toyota over the past five years and we are excited that Toyota’s partnership with Cricket Australia is set to continue for at least the next 4 years.
“We are very grateful for the support Toyota provides at various levels of the Australian Cricket pathway, and we are looking forward to working with them to deliver their objectives of assisting cricket at a community level. Toyota’s support is having a very real impact with our grassroots clubs and teams.”
