Chinese state-owned automotive manufacturer SAIC Motor has agreed a partnership with the Chinese Super League (CSL), the top tier of club soccer in the country.

Under the terms of the deal, SAIC will serve as a senior official partner of the CSL.

The carmaker will seek to promote its brands such as Roewe and Evcard through the partnership.

Dong Zheng, general manager of the CSL, said: “This is a leading Chinese auto company that cooperates with the Chinese Super League not only because it can enhance corporate awareness and expand brand influence through the Chinese Super League, but also because it sees the potential and bright future of the Chinese Super League.”
