Scottish soccer champions Celtic have announced a new two-year partnership with Mr Green.
The online gambling company will be listed as the Scottish Premiership outfit’s official casino partner and will enjoy brand exposure on pitchside LED boards and across the club’s digital channels.
Additionally, Mr Green will develop an exclusive Celtic-branded slot game which will feature both current and past players. The company will also give fans of the Glasgow-based team the chance to win VIP experiences at the club’s training ground as well as tickets to games.
The deal represents Mr Green’s first partnership in Scotland, having previously partnered with third-tier English side Wigan Athletic and Irish outfit Bohemian FC.
“We are very pleased to be partnering with Mr Green,” said Gordon Kaye, head of business development for Celtic. “We’re certain both parties will enjoy a highly successful association with Celtic fans, both at the stadium and around the UK, benefiting from the partnership.”
Jesper Kärrbrink, chief executive of Mr Green, added: “We are very excited to be able to partner with such a prestigious club, with one of the biggest and strongest fanbases in the world. We are impressed with the continuous high performance by the club, and we believe that we have found the perfect club to partner with.”
Celtic, who are vying for their seventh consecutive league title, are top of the Scottish Premiership by virtue of goal difference. They travel to play second-place Aberdeen at Pittodrie Stadium later today (Wednesday).
