Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has signed his first endorsement deal, with Philadelphia-based energy firm NRG.
Wentz, who was the number one pick in the 2016 National Football League (NFL) Draft, has agreed an endorsement deal with the firm, and will appear in promotional material and advertising spots for NRG.
Financial terms of the agreement, which is set to run for a minimum two years, were not disclosed.
Wentz has enjoyed a promising start to his NFL career, with 63.7 per cent pass completion rate and 13 touchdown throws to his name. The Eagles, however, have not fared as well, and have won only two of their first nine games of the season.
