Northern Irish boxer Carl Frampton has signed a personal endorsement deal with 32red.
The multi-fight deal will see the 30-year-old become an official brand ambassador of the online casino, which is part of the Kindred Group.
32Red’s logo will adorn Frampton’s fight-night shorts and training apparel, starting with this Saturday’s ‘Frampton Reborn’ card from The SSE Arena in Belfast. As part of the agreement, Frampton will provide regular content for the 32Red blog and social channels.
“I’m excited to be sharing the next stage of my career with 32Red, a brand who have a long history of supporting top quality sport and boxing in particular,” said Frampton. “I’m looking forward to working with them in what is such a great time for boxing and especially for me.”
“My focus is now on winning back a world title at Featherweight and then becoming a three-weight world champion at Super-Featherweight.”
Gerry Murray, director of brand and acquisition at 32Red, commented: “All of us at 32Red are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Carl during what could be the most exciting period of his career.
“We have a successful existing partnership with Carl’s new promoter Frank Warren and when the opportunity presented itself to take that to the next level by adding him as an ambassador, it was something we jumped at.”
The previously undefeated Frampton endured a difficult 2017 that saw him lose his WBA world featherweight title, miss out on fighting at less than a day's notice and then split from long-term mentor and promoter Barry McGuigan.
Frampton’s next bout is against Mexican fighter Horacio García on 18th November.
