The Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) has extended one of its key sponsorship deals, with Cariparma Credit Agricole Group committing to the body until 2017.
As part of the new three-year deal the banking group will continue to serve as the shirt sponsor of Italy’s national rugby union side. It will also sponsor a series of upcoming autumn internationals which will be known as Cariparma Test Matches.
Cariparma has been the FIR’s principal commercial backer since January 2007. Financial terms of the renewal have not been released.
“We are happy to be able to continue to carry the Cariparma brand on our chest and we hope to share with the group, in the seasons ahead of us, a growing number of successes,” said FIR president Alfredo Gavazzi.
