Second-tier English soccer side Hull City have entered into a commercial partnership with Burflex.
The Hull-based scaffolder will be Hull’s back-of-shirt sponsor for the 2017/18 English Football League (EFL) Championship season. Burflex previously sponsored the Yorkshire club's playing shorts.
The financial terms of the deal have not been released.
"We have been long-term supporters of the club and are really excited about this new sponsorship agreement for the 2017/18 season,” said Steve Cox, managing director of Burflex. “We have previously sponsored the playing shorts but this demonstrates the first time we've had our logo on the club's famous black and amber shirt.
"Burflex has always enjoyed working with the Tigers and we look forward to seeing the development of this partnership going forwards."
Joe Clutterbrook, Hull City commercial manager, added: "We are delighted that Burflex have agreed to continue their longstanding support of the club and once again enter the season amongst our major partners. Whilst they are a locally based company, they have a presence across the UK and we hope that appearing on the back of our playing kit this season will enable them to continue to grow their brand on a wider scale.
"Steve and his team are great to work with and we look forward to continuing to develop our partnership throughout this season."
