The ISF, the international softball division of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), is to showcase all 67 games from the Women’s Softball World Championships online.

Live streaming, as well as a payable on demand service, will be available globally via ISFsoftball.org. Additionally, the tournament’s finale, the bronze and gold medal games on 24th August, will be broadcast on major television networks. TV Tokyo has already secured the exclusive rights for Japan’s 32 million households.

“We are very pleased to showcase the 14th Women's World Championship to the entire global audience," said ISF president and WBSC executive vice president Dale McMann. "The ability for the international community to access the highest level of women's softball will only enhance our capacity to drive spectator interest and the growing consumer demand of our sport."

The tournament’s 14th instalment starts on Friday in the Netherlands. This the first time the women’s showpiece event has been held in Europe since its inauguration in 1965. The United States and Japan have met in the last four finals with Japan victorious in 2012.
