Brentford secure Fuller’s partnership

Second-tier English soccer side Brentford have launched a new strategic partnership with Fuller’s Brewery.

The local brewing company will become the Championship outfit’s official premium ale partner, which will see its London Pride product available for fans to buy on matchdays at the club’s Griffin Park home ground.

Fuller’s will also benefit from an extensive advertising package, which will include exposure on pitchside LED bands, access to first team players, and the provision of two new London Pride-branded mascots which will be present at the stadium during home games.

James Parkinson, commercial director of Brentford, said: “The relationship between Fuller’s and Brentford goes back a long way and we are delighted to have now reached an official partnership agreement with Fuller’s.

“The club prides itself in delivering engaging partnerships that reach beyond just branding and marketing, but which can deliver a true partnership, working together to add value to both our supporters and Fuller’s staff. We look forward to working with the Fuller’s team in the years to come.”

Simon Dodd, managing director of Fuller’s Brewery, added: “With the historic link between Brentford and Fuller’s, it’s great to see our flagship beer on sale at Griffin Park. We have a lot of Brentford supporters working at the brewery, it is a club that is geographically very close and we know that London Pride will be a popular choice on the Bees’ bars.”

West London-based Brentford are 22nd in the Championship after picking up no points from their opening two games, the latest of which ended in a 4-3 home defeat to Nottingham Forest. They play their next game at home to Bristol City on 15th August.
