FitVine Wine has been confirmed as a sponsor of Major League Baseball (MLB) team the Boston Red Sox.
The three-year deal will allow the California-based winery to use the baseball franchise’s logo for branding and marketing purposes. Additionally, the company will be able to host happy hours and sampling’s at the club’s Women’s Fantasy Camp promotion, as well as holding sweepstakes on the Red Sox official website.
“We are honoured to be representing the Boston Red Sox brand as a partner, and also to have the opportunity to introduce the fans to our line of clean wine,” said Mark Warren, co-founder of FitVine Wine. “It’s especially exciting for our company, as two of our three founders, myself being one, are originally from Massachusetts and still reside there part of the year.”
Red Sox executive vice president, Troup Parkinson, added: “It’s great to be working with a company that has founders with New England roots. We are pleased to have FitVine Wine as a Red Sox partner and look forward to working with them to introduce their low-calorie wines to our fans.”
The Red Sox are currently third in the MLB American League East, and play their next game against the Oakland Athletics on Friday night.
