Boris Becker hoping for Bayern UCL win
German tennis legend Boris Becker has become a brand ambassador for online bookmaker Youwin.com.
The six-time Grand Slam champion has signed a five-year deal and will be positioned as the face of the company’s marketing efforts as it looks to expand in territories such as Germany, Turkey, Canada and the UK.
Becker was at London’s Wembley Stadium on Wednesday to launch the partnership ahead of Bayern Munich’s Uefa Champions League final clash with Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
A keen Bayern supporter, he has put his name to a one-off product offering from Youwin.com called the ‘Becker Cash Back’, which will see all losing bets refunded if Saturday’s match ends 3-1 to Bayern.
"I'm delighted to become a Youwin.com ambassador and look forward to a long and successful relationship together,” said the 45-year-old. “It's going to be a great summer of sport this year and if my prediction holds true, it will begin with a 1-3 Bayern Munich victory on Saturday.
"Betting has always been an integral part of sporting culture and can create as much excitement for sports fans as the results do. So whether it's backing Bayern or looking forward to the French Open and Wimbledon, our aim is to ensure we continually engage fans at Youwin.com.”blog comments powered by Disqus
