German automobile manufacturer BMW has renewed as an official partner of the French Rugby Federation (FFR), the governing body of rugby union in France.
The four-year deal will continue BMW’s strong brand presence at the national side’s home matches played at the Stade de France, Paris, while the company will become the front-of-shirt sponsor for France’s under-20s side and the national sevens team.
BMW will become a partner of the two French stages of the World Rugby Sevens Series, the annual series of international rugby sevens tournaments run by the sport’s governing body, and it will support the FFR in promoting the development of sevens in France.
In addition, France’s national team captain Guilhem Guirado has signed a personal endorsement deal with BMW. The Toulon hooker joins international colleagues Thierry Dusautoir, Wesley Fofana and Arthur Bonneval as a brand ambassador for the car giant.
