The Belgian Football Association (KBVB), the governing body for soccer in Belgium, has announced a partnership with SciSports.
The deal will see the Dutch company provide its data intelligence and expertise to aid Belgium’s preparations for and during this summer’s Fifa World Cup in Russia, where they have been drawn in Group G alongside England, Panama and Tunisia.
SciSports said its data intelligence will help the KBVB to create the best possible conditions for the national team’s technical staff and player’s during the tournament, which takes place from 14th June to 15th July.
“In times that I am sad about the Dutch missing the World Cup in Russia, it makes me proud that SciSports is present on the highest level of world football,” said SciSports chief executive Giels Brouwer. “In addition to the collaboration with international and also Belgian clubs it is a great next step for us to actually work with the Belgium Football Association.”
