Vodafone Telekomunikasyon, the Turkish arm of the multinational telecommunications company, has agreed a two-year extension with Turkish soccer giants Beşiktaş.
The company will remain the front-of-shirt sponsor for the Süper Lig champions' home and away kits.The deal, which runs until the end of the 2018/19 season, as said by Beşiktaş' president Fikret Orman to include "an annual investment of US$5 million in cash".
In 2013, Vodafone signed a ten-year US$145 million deal with the Istanbul club for the naming rights for their home stadium. Orman confirmed that the new agreement will see the club spend a further "US$2 million in stadium investments".
Last season Beşiktaş won Turkish soccer's top flight for the 14th time in their history. The Black Eagles have continued their domestic supremacy this year and currently top the table by three points from city rivals İstanbul Başakşehir.
