Chinese dairy manufacturer the Yili Group has entered into a commercial partnership with the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games (BOC 2022).
The two parties signed an agreement at Beijing’s National Swimming Center, which confirmed the Hohhot-headquartered company as the official dairy partner of the 2022 winter Games. Yili fulfilled the same sponsorship role at the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Yili has been devoting itself to the cause of the Olympic Games and has provided great dairy products for international customers and Chinese Olympic players in the past few years,” said Zhang Jiandong, executive vice president of the BOC 2022. “It has attained a higher goal today by partnering with the Beijing 2022 Games.”
The multi-sport 2022 Winter Olympics will take place in Beijing and towns in the neighbouring Hebei province from 4th to 20th February.
