Spanish soccer giants Barcelona have renewed their partnership with the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SPDB).
The La Liga club’s board of directors have approved the proposal to renew the two-year agreement first signed in December 2016.
The commercial bank will continue as a regional club partner in China for another two seasons, until June 2020, as well as continuing as the official bank of Barcelona in the Asian country.
The original agreement saw SPDB launch four Barca-branded payment cards but with departed star Neymar featuring on three of them the renewed deal is expected to see those cards updated.
Barcelona are currently 12 points clear at the top of La Liga after beating Malaga 2-0 on Sunday.
