Back9Network adds to ambassadorial roster
Back9Network, a US cable TV network specialising in golf-related programming, has announced American golfers J.J. Henry and Alison Walshe as ambassadors.
Henry, a two-time PGA Tour winner, and LPGA professional Walshe will both appear in Back9’s future marketing as well as serving as analysts and commentators for the network.
Back9’s existing roster of brand ambassadors includes a number of well-known golfers, including Tony Jacklin, Cheyenne Woods, Padraig Harrington and Ricky Barnes.
James Bosworth, the chairman and chief executive of Back9Network, said Henry would bring “an insightful perspective” to the network’s coverage, while Walshe would offer “a fresh look as an up and comer on the LPGA circuit”.
“Both players share our vision of making the sport inclusive to everyone and encouraging more people to enjoy the game of golf and live the golf lifestyle,” added Bosworth.
