Audrey Wilkinson sponsors golf’s Australian Open

The Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard has entered into a commercial and strategic partnership with PGA Tour of Australasia, the region’s professional golf tour for men.

The Australian winery will be an official sponsor and wine partner of this month’s Emirates Australian Open Golf, which will be held between 23rd and 26th November at The Australian Golf Club in Rosebery, a suburb of Sydney.

Audrey Wilkinson will, in addition, host the Audrey Wilkinson Wine Garden that will be located alongside the clubhouse and overlooking the fairway and green on the 18th hole.

“We are really excited to be partnering with the Emirates Australian Open 2017, which is such a distinguished event, and like our Audrey Wilkinson brand has a long and rich history,” said Rohan Beale, head of marketing and sales at Audrey Wilkinson. “The Wine Garden almost feels like being at the cellar door! And will be the place to be for enjoying great wine and great golf.”

The Australian Open is one of the PGA Tour of Australasia’s oldest golf tournaments and was won by American super star Jordan Spieth in 2016. It was recently announced that three-time major winner Spieth will defend his title at the 102nd edition of the championship this month.
