The National Football League’s (NFL) Atlanta Falcons have entered a new five-year partnership with Zaxby’s.
The deal will see the fried chicken restaurant chain listed as the official chicken of the Atlanta Falcons until the end of the 2021 season.
The company will serve as the title sponsor of the franchise’s ‘Salute to Service’ week, which is scheduled between 30th October and 4th November. Additionally, it will be a presenting sponsor of the club’s training camp and their ‘Fishing with the Falcons’ annual spring fishing tournament held for wounded veterans.
The partnership will also provide Zaxby’s with advertising opportunities through home game activations, signage and broadcast and print media. The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
The Atlanta Falcons finished top of the NFL’s NFC South division in 2016, before advancing to their second ever Super Bowl, where they gave up a seemingly impenetrable 25-point lead to lose 34-28 to the New England Patriots. The Falcons kick off the new campaign in their new Mercedes-Benz Stadium against the Green Bay Packers on 18th September.
