Top-tier English soccer side AFC Bournemouth have confirmed that online gaming company Mansion will be their first ever shirt-sleeve sponsor.
The deal will see the Gibraltar-based company’s logo adorn the left arm of the Premier League outfit’s home strip and third shirt, while another of Mansion’s brands, Casino.com, will feature on the sleeve of the club’s away shirt.
Mansion had been Bournemouth’s front-of-shirt sponsor for the past two Premier League seasons. It was replaced by Asian bookmaker M88.com, which signed a club record two-year partnership during the close season.
“I am delighted to further expand our partnership with Mansion,” said Neill Blake, Bournemouth’s chief executive. “The club is growing quickly and now has a huge reach, being in our third season in the Premier League.
“Mansion can capitalise on that, as well as supporting the club to raise our profile in territories such as Asia. Therefore, it is a deal which is very beneficial for both parties and I look forward to continuing to work with Mansion.”
Following a 2-1 home defeat to high-flying Manchester City on Saturday, who scored a winner after seven minutes of injury time at the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth currently lie in 18th position in the Premier League. The English south-coast side are yet to pick a point from their opening three fixtures.
