Global management consulting and technology services company Accenture has been announced as the official technology partner of the 2012 and 2013 Six Nations rugby tournament.
According to an official press release, as the official partner of the Six Nations, this year scheduled to start on 4th February, Accenture will be responsible for delivering the international rugby union tournament's official mobile app.
"The app will provide broadcasters, journalists, coaches and rugby fans with the latest news such as team line ups and live text commentary throughout the championship," said Six Nations chief executive John Feehan. "We look forward to a very productive and successful relationship with Accenture.”

Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
