Italian soccer giants AC Milan have named jewellery group Damiani as their new luxury partner.
The one-year deal covers the 2018/19 season and will see the Italian company’s array of brands displayed at the Serie A club’s historic San Siro stadium during home games.
The agreement sees Damiani become part of Milan’s third-tier partnership category, joining the likes of Peroni, Fujitsu and Konami. The financial terms of the agreement have not been released.
Lorenzo Giorgetti, AC Milan’s chief commercial officer, said: “The quality of the group perfectly embraces the philosophy of Milan. Together we are convinced we can achieve important goals for two brands that represent international excellence in their respective sectors.”
Milan are 13th in Serie A after three games of the new season. They travel to Luxembourg on Thursday to play Dudelange in the Uefa Europa League before returning to domestic action at home to Atalanta on Sunday.
