Uwe Alten joins Havas to head up Frankfurt office

Havas Sports & Entertainment (HS&E) has appointed Uwe Alten as managing director of the company’s Frankfurt office.

Alten, who has over 20 years experience in consumer engagement and live events internationally across sports and entertainment, joins from Sports Rights Solutions, where, as shareholder, he provided strategic consulting for brands and rights holders.

He was previously managing director at Schmidt und Kaiser/GMR, working on activations around several editions of the Fifa World Cup, Uefa European Championship and the Champions League.

In his new role at Havas Alten will help strengthen and develop the company’s position in the German market, where it has been operating since 2007.
