AC Milan have named Fabio Guadagnini as their new chief communications officer.
Guadagnini, a renowned sports journalist and a former Sky Sport anchor, will head the corporate communication and public relations departments of the Serie A outfit. He will also have a hands-on role with Media House Milan and Milan TV, the club’s in-house media and television companies. He replaces Massimo Zennaro.
An official club statement said: ‘AC Milan announces that it has entrusted Fabio Guadagnini, 52, a journalist since 1991, the leadership of the Department of Communication with the position of chief communications officer.’
Guadagnini previously worked as the head of communications for Rome’s failed 2024 Olympic bid. Earlier this month erstwhile AC Milan chairman Silvio Berlusconi confirmed the sale of the club to Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux, a Chinese consortium led by businessman Yonghong Li.
