Duffy appointed to Celtic board
09 February 2010 | By Adam Fraser
Celtic's famous green and white hooped jersey may still be waiting to make its debut on the catwalk, but the club's boardroom will have a designer feel after Brian Duffy was appointed to the Parkhead board.
Duffy, a life-long Celtic fan, is the group director, Europe, of Polo Ralph Lauren, a company at which he has worked for almost seven years.
Duffy will serve as an independent non-executive director of Celtic, with the Scottish Premier League club hoping to draw upon his experience to boost revenues through merchandising and brand development.
