Elzie and Field join NBA’s London office

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has appointed two new executives to its London office.

Jene Elzie, a former NBC Universal employee, has been named vice president, marketing and will lead the NBA’s marketing efforts in the EMEA region, including its consumer recruitment and engagement initiatives. Elzie will report to Ben Morel, the senior vice president of NBA Europe.

Meanwhile, Spencer Field has been named senior director, new business. The former head of creative solutions for News International will be responsible for securing new marketing partners for the league and will report to Marc Armstrong, the vice president of marketing partnerships EMEA.

“We’re delighted to welcome two experienced people to our team,” said Morel. “Their respective backgrounds and experience will contribute to the continuing growth and success of the NBA across the region.”
