The World Surf League (WSL) has appointed Beth Greve as its new chief commercial officer.
Greve, the former senior vice president of digital at Eurosport parent Discovery Communications, will head up the pro surfing tour’s commercial department, overseeing US-based teams in New York and Los Angeles as well as regional teams in Australia, Asia, Europe, South America and Africa.
Greve has also previously worked for Jaunt VR and YouTube's Awesomeness TV, where she held the role of chief partnerships officer. She replaces Mark Noonan, who is leaving the WSL after three years.
"I'm incredibly excited to join the WSL, a truly digital-first and innovative league," Greve said in a statement.
"I look forward to bringing my varied experience in the sports and digital worlds to building innovative global brand partnerships and creating exciting new opportunities for growth.”
