Public relations company Publicis Media has appointed Ben Cronin as the new global head of its media sport and entertainment (PMSE) division.
Cronin replaces Robin Clarke, who joined Endeavor Global Marketing as its new senior international vice president earlier this week.
In his new role, Cronin will be based in London, and will focus on accelerating the sport and entertainment practice.
Cronin, who has been with Publicis for the past seven years, will work alongside Chris Jones, global lead of research and evaluation, and the rest of the PMSE global team to grow the business.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to continue PMSE’s powerful momentum and serve its strong portfolio of clients,” added Cronin. “We have a great team in place from top to bottom and I look forward to leading them into the future phase of our development.”
“Ben has been an important part of PMSE’s history and I look forward to watching him continue to grow the business and deliver world-class solutions for its clients,” said Belinda Rowe, global practice lead, content, at Publicis. “We thank Robin for his many contributions to the company. He, in partnership with Ben and Chris, have established PMSE as a force with which to be reckoned. We will miss him and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
