Representatives: Elite Athlete Management

2015 ranking: 31

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr became a social media superstar in 2014 after a one-handed touchdown catch against the Dallas Cowboys, which was voted National Football League (NFL) play of the year, went viral on video-sharing platform Vine. Two years on and the 23-year-old has gone from strength to strength.

After an impressive rookie season in 2014, 2015 saw Beckham Jr step out of the label of youthful sensation to mature into one of the league’s most recognisable stars. Taking 96 catches, scoring 13 touchdowns, and receiving for 1,450 yards, Beckham Jr shattered his record-breaking debut year statistics, and he doesn’t look like stopping there. With age on his side, and a new head coach in Ben McAdoo at the Giants, he has every chance of reaching a Super Bowl in the near future.

With distinctive bleach-blond hair and a charismatic social media presence, Beckham Jr is certainly not shy of a marketing deal. He has been the subject of a US documentary film, runs his own clothing line, OBJ Clothing, and has major deals with Nike, Trojan and Exos Performance Nutrition. TL
