AT&T, title sponsors of the Williams Formula One team, has signed a major sponsorship deal with Major League Soccer and the USA national team.
AT&T's logo will be used for the first time on the front of the league's All-Star team jerseys this week. The deal, signed less than a year before the next World Cup, is an extension of the company's soccer commitments in North America, which also sees it sponsor the Mexico national team and InterLiga, an eight-team Mexican tournament that takes place in the USA.
The deal comes soon after the USA's strong performance in the Confederations Cup, when the team reached the final before losing to Brazil.
