Healthway, the Western Australian Government's health promotion arm, has become the principal sponsor of the West Coast Fever, the Perth-based ANZ Championship team, for the next two years. The team will work with the Drug and Alcohol Office as part of an ongoing campaign in the region to promote safe alcohol consumption.

"Our sponsorship will promote the Rethink Drink message to the West Coast Fever audience aiming to reduce risky alcohol use and create safer drinking environments in Western Australia," said Healthway chair Jenn Morris. "With netball being such a popular sport, we look forward to West Coast Fever having a strong following and taking a very active role in promoting the Rethink Drink message."

Every ANZ championship game is shown live on One HD in Australia and on Sky Sports in New Zealand at prime time, in a broadcast deal worth more than US$1 million to the two countries' netball associations. Highlights and delayed coverage are also popular, a combination that ensures the interest of high-profile sponsors. Most notably, title sponsors ANZ Bank's deal is the largest sponsorship deal in the history of women's sport in Australasia.
