Adidas extends Uefa ball sponsorship

Adidas has been retained as Uefa's official ball supplier for the next three years.
The German sportswear giant has extended its relationship with European soccer's governing body. The latest deal will run to 2012 and will see Adidas design and supply balls for the UEFA
Champions League, the newly created UEFA Europa League as well as the UEFA Super Cup.
Adidas, which has been in the balls business since 1963, started supplying official match balls in 1970. Together with Uefa, the German company has designed three separate match balls for the coming season.
Furthermore, Adidas has designed a "futuristic" match ball to be used in the Uefa Super Cup game at the Stade Louis II in Monaco on 28th August.
As part of the deal, Adidas will be on site in a different city before every match day to support the Uefa Europa League, conducting a number of events for the fans and promoting the sale of merchandise.
