Cyta, the Cypriote television station, has won the rights to broadcast all the remaining UEFA Champions League live matches, highlights from both nights' competition and delayed matches. In addition, Cyta has won a significant package in the UEFA Europa League sales process which includes all live matches (other than the first-choice match), highlights and delayed matches.
"In what has proved to be a particularly competitive market, UEFA received a number of offers for the various packages of rights available,"said a Uefa spokesperson. "We are delighted to confirm these new rights deals in Cyprus. Uefa is renewing its successful partnerships with Sigma and CYBC while welcoming a new partner in the form of Cyta. These deals will deliver great exposure for both competitions in Cyprus."
