Taylors Wines partners with Golf Australia

Taylors Wines has signed a three-year agreement to support the Australian Open Golf Championship, commencing with the 2009 Australian Open at New South Wales Golf Club in December.
Taylors began a sponsorship deal with Golf Australia in 2008 and under the new deal it will provide wines at the men’s and women’s Australian Open until 2011.
Mitchell Taylor, third generation managing director for Taylors, said: “My family shares a keen interest in golf and we’re pleased to incorporate it into the business.
“This sponsorship enables us to introduce some of our finest wines to the world’s best players and committed golf enthusiasts. I’m looking forward to sharing a drink with them.”
Stephen Pitt, chief execuitve of Golf Australia, added: “We’re delighted to expand our partnership with Taylors Wines. Golf Australia values our relationship with a premium brand like Taylors and we look forward to three years of excellent golf accompanied by the perfect Taylors drop.”
