Summit Racing renews NHRA sponsorship

Summit Racing Equipment has renewed its title sponsorship of the NHRA Summit Racing Series, as well as the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas and the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals in Atlanta, for the next three years.

The company, the world's largest mail order and online supplier of automotive and truck equipment, has backed the National Hot Rod Association for a number of years, and has been title sponsor of the NHRA Summit Racing Series since the turn of the millennium.

"Summit Racing Equipment has been a long-standing supporter of NHRA Drag Racing," said Gary Darcy, senior vice president sales and marketing, NHRA. "At all levels of the sport, from sportsman to the professionals, Summit Racing Equipment has shown time and time again its commitment to NHRA and the racing community."

Jim Greenleaf, Summit Racing Equipment motorsports and events manager, added: "We look forward to continuing our support for sportsman racers through the NHRA Summit Racing Series, which gives local racers a chance to compete on a national level. This programme, along with our renewed sponsorship of national events on the NHRA Full Throttle Series circuit, allows us to support racers and fans at both the sportsman and professional levels."
