Sprint Gas Racing, the V8 Supercar racing team, has secured two new sponsors, with the partnerships starting at the Bathurst 1000 this weekend.
Bob Jane T-Marts, the tyre company owned by 80-year-old Australian racing legend Bob Jane, a four-time Australian Touring Car Champion, and Red Rooster energy drink signed onto back the team at Bathurst, with Bob Jane T-Marts' deal continuing for the rest of the 2009 season.
"We're thrilled to have iconic motorsport sponsor Bob Jane T-Marts join us at Bathurst – an event where it has a long and very successful association," said Sprint Gas Racing co-owner Tim Miles. "Bob Jane first raced at Bathurst 46 years ago, and his heritage continues on through the racing exploits of his son Rod and the involvement of the Bob Jane T-Marts group."
He added: "Red Rooster is a highly recognised and respected brand with a strong marketing background. We hope that they will gain unique exposure with us."
