Sportfive, the sports rights marketing agency, has agreed an extension to its deal with the Football Association of Iceland (KSI) for a further three years.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sportfive will now hold both domestic and international marketing and broadcast rights to almost all first-class Icelandic soccer.

"We are delighted that the Icelandic Federation has decided to renew its vote of confidence in us and has entrusted us with the worldwide marketing of all its media rights," said Lars Heidenreich, Sportfive's executive vice president.

Geir Thorsteinsson, president of the KSI, praised Sportfive's "enormous expertise" in marketing sports rights, and added: "We can only benefit from its worldwide network of contacts, as our excellent, trustful cooperation over recent years has clearly shown."

The extended deal will now run to 2015.
