Reebok partners Port Adelaide in US$1.5m extension deal

Reebok, the sportswear giant, has extended its contract with Port Adelaide, the Australian Rules Football team, in a three-year deal which caps off a lucrative week for the Adelaide club. The contract, which is worth in the region of US$1.5million, will now be due for renewal in 2012.
Port Adelaide has also signed up BBX, the Australian business brokerage company, and Betezy, the betting agency, as sponsors.
Port Adelaide currently play in the Australian Football League and are South Australia’s most successful team, having won an Australian record of 34 South Australia National Football League premierships. They have also been crowned Champions of Australia on four occasions.
Power chief executive Mark Haysman said that having "Reebok on board for future years is terrific news."
