Philadelphia Union to join MLS in Adidas kits

Philadelphia Union, which will join Major League Soccer next year, will play in kits manufactured by Adidas under the terms of the German brand's contract with MLS.

Philadelphia will be the sixteenth MLS franchise, and will play in the 18,500 capacity Union Field.

"There will be no mistaking the Philadelphia Union on the field - or anywhere else for that matter - with this jersey," said Philadelphia Union president, Tom Veit, to Football Shirt Culture. "We hope our supporters are as pleased with it as we are."

The team is yet to secure a shirt sponsor, but is in talks with a number of companies.
